Monday marks the seven-year anniversary of the murder of Rickita Smalls and Iroquois Alston, who were fatally shot on Aug. 6, 2011 on Avenue B in Norwalk. The investigation has been ongoing since the fatal incident.
Smalls was a graduate of Bassick High School in Bridgeport, and worked in the bakery of Stop & Shop. Alston attended Westhill High School in Stamford.
As the investigation continues, police said that the State of Connecticut has offered the $50,000 reward on the anniversary, as they attempt to track down their suspect.
